Compare Cleaning Products to Sell House Smart
Compare Cleaning Products Tips & Tricks
When you compare cleaning products, look for ingredients, effectiveness and price.
The best cleaning products to sell house smart are not grocery store brand cleaners. Most of these cleaning products use toxic and harsh chemicals that create toxic vapors when combined.
Because houses are so well insulated, their toxic vapors remain in the house for up to 4 hours after each use.
When More Money Requires More Work? NOT Smart!
Nor are the best cleaning products to sell house smart 100% natural, "Vegan" approved, etc. When comparing cleaning products to sell house smart, these are less than best because they can cost three times as much and usually require more effort (that is, elbow grease).
More expensive cleaning products that require more work generally do not fit the budget and schedule of a busy home owner who wants to sell house smart.
When Make-Your-Own Makes Its Own Mess? NOT Smart!
Home made cleaners are a possibility, but may be an unrealistic option to regularly keep your house clean while on the market.
If you have extra time to use lemons as a natural bleaching agent, mix up a fresh batch of vinegar and water as a disinfectant, or make a baking soda paste to clean grease, go for it.
So long as you have the time for the extra elbow grease needed to effectively deep clean the entire house.
Be Aware & Compare - to Sell House Smart
When you compare cleaning products to sell house smart, look for less expensive, more effective, non-caustic cleaners (i.e. no harsh chemcials included).
We recommend cleaning products that use no harsh chemicals and include combinations of natural cleaning ingredients such as: citrus solvents, soapbark extract, tea tree oil, the antimicrobial essential oil of Thyme, other essential oils and herbal extracts, naturally derived enzymes and cleaners, vinegar, baking soda, etc.
The combination of excellent cleaning power (without harsh chemicals) at discounted prices (without bulk buying) works for us and our clients.
As a test, read the label of the grocery store brand counter cleaners and disinfectants you currently use in your kitchen and bathroom. Most, even those labeled "food surface cleaner," contain a warning: "Hazardous to Humans and Animals." And that's for . . . cleaning food preparation surfaces? Not anymore.
The brand we use is eco-friendly, biodegradable and manufactured in the U.S.A. In addition to many natural cleaners listed above, this brand includes some preservatives, alcohol and surfactants. But we have found their products work great (without extra effort), cost less, contain no harsh chemicals and leave no strong odor.
